The Others (in a sauna)

Our work The Others is installed in a sauna (as someone pointed out “too much intimacy with strangers in both cases…“), for the group show Families of Objects, at Random Institute, Zurich. Thanks to Marco Antonini & Sandino Scheidegger!

Desktop Residency

for a living planet

Our work for Desktop Residency, curated by Barnie Page and John Henry Newton is now up for download. They are 3 wallpapers which use the same aesthetic of the little known “shittywallpapers” meme, but they are not memes, as they’re not viral and they don’t make any sense (not funny/surprising/demotivational etc.).

They’re not found images, we actually put in an almost obsessive attention to imitating a total lack of attention.

If you use them as wallpapers for your computer/mobile/whatever please send a screenshot!

If you leave it up to the audience, they can kill you

freedom exhib perth

A lot of our works happen outside of art spaces, like on the internet or in videogames, where the audience behaves very differently than the average art public. These for example are some comments on our performance Freedom on HTMLGIANT, I especially like this one: “What I learned was that… if you leave it up to the audience, they can kill you.”

BTW photo above is Freedom on view at the Western Australian Museum.
