A limited edition of 100 prints created for the RHIZOMA Biennial, signed and numbered. The edition is printed on un-dosed heavyweight blotting paper with 900 perforated tabs (the same kind used for LSD), using plant based, food grade ink.
The photograph of our Cursed Cat sculpture was “deep-fried” by master chef Franziska Von Guten and printed by Caleb Kesey, grandson of countercultural icon Ken Kesey. In the tradition of Deep Fried Memes, the image was passed through dozens of digital filters until it became grainy, distorted, and intensely saturated—a visual aesthetic born from internet culture and heavy meme circulation, with no clear origin.
A few prints are missing a single tab, removed during shipping by U.S. Customs and Border Protection for drug testing. We’ve decided to treat these as accidental special editions—created in unintentional collaboration with U.S. CBP.
