A Net Art piece that transforms the entire open-source Linux operating system code into a colourful abstract animation. The work resembles a field of horizontal graphic equalizer bars, generated by rapid vertical scrolling. The title 2.4.19 refers to the Linux version used in the piece, released in August 2002. At the time, the code was too large to be displayed on a single HTML page, so it was divided into 100 web pages, each playing for 5 seconds.
