An artist-run server connected to the open internet, distributing artworks as Torrents through the peer-to-peer network. The server has no output, and so the register of the artwork is limited to blinking lights and the noise of the cooling fans. And yet, this artwork is distributed across many locations in a network, accessible to those who are actively sharing the material with others.
The server uses the museum connectivity and infrastructure to distribute the artworks. We designed the server cage based on existing data centers where the extra empty space is a common feature that implies further endless expansion to accommodate more data.
