A loop of brightly colored cable tray hosts a coil of ethernet cable, in which all the photos we shot throughout one day are circulating endlessly without being seen.
The images are pulled from our personal archive of digital photographs of the past twenty years.
Two microcomputers transfer the photographs back and forth, creating an autonomous network. Images without viewers, yet always there, like most images nowadays.
Each work is composed of a very limited number of pieces that can be joined together in infinite combinations, creating a visual tribute to data circulation.
The code that runs the piece can be downloaded here: https://github.com/huertanix/pi2pi
