The Influencers was an annual festival we curated, together with Bani, in Barcelona, Spain, at the CCCB and in various locations around the city. The Influencers promoted controversial forms of art and guerrilla communication, presenting visionary projects that play with popular culture, infiltrate the mass media and transform everyday things into outlandish spectacles. Past speakers include: Trevor Paglen, Simon Denny, Jill Magid, Kenneth Goldsmith, Franco ‘Bifo’ Berardi, David Horvitz, The Yes Men, Neue Slowenische Kunst, Critical Art Ensemble, Constant Dullaart, JR, Chim-Pom, Metahaven, Amalia Ulman and William Binney.
